Sad Been trying to add some media to my homepage?
It says I'm allowed to upload up to 150MB, my files are Mp3 and 3.50MB yet it keeps coming up with an error message, is it something I'm doing wrong? Embarassed

Hi Saul,

What is the error message you're getting? Sometimes the browser will time out if you're connection is a little slow. Please try it again & let me know if you still get an error.

If all else fails you can email me the file & I'll post it for you.

Sorry you're having trouble, hope we can fix it.

Sad Tried again, doesn't seem to take too long, but I get this error message,

''Error. No file entered, file exceeds limit or invalid file type.

No files added yet.''

The file is an Mp3 and is 3.80mb, (It is 6.38sec long though, could this be why?)

Tried another, this one was 6.09mb and 04.26 long, same message?

Hi,

If possible could you send me one of those files so I can try it from here? Usually that message means something is wrong with the file but I'd like to check it out.

my email address: kcguitar@gmail.com

Thanks for your patience.

hi saulhudson.welcome to the site.

i think i know whats happening mate, heres the procedure

go to your site media and create a file naming it what you want it to be called.
once named and created then re-open the media folder you have just created.you will now have to name this folder and below there is an add media browse button.just browse for the file you want to upload and click add just once.wait approx a minute for the upload.the screen will then reload and the file will be uploaded.

i hope this helps.

Gavin you're the man! Thanks for the help. I received Saul's files and uploaded them with no problem so I thought it was going to be a big problem. Think I need to make the upload process clearer for new users.

Thanks again.

Let us know how it goes.

Gavin said it right you have to create a 'Media Folder' first, then go into the folder and add your files. This gives the ability to add different types of files to one folder - like photos, patches and sound clips.
