Hey Guys

I just got my X3 Live today, and started playing arround with it. I also found this super site with this forum and patches.

Well after a long day making music and adding patches, I decided to "clear" the added patches, so I did a RESET of my X3 Live - just as described in the manual. After a couple of seconds holding the "save button" to confirm my clearing of user presets, they were gone as planned.

I took a break, but just HAD to fire it up again later Surprised) Now I found that ALL the sounds (mostly noticble on distortions) had a strange "high pitched fuzzy" sound to them. I loaded a patch I used earlier recording, because I KNEW what that should sound like. It DIDN'T sound as planned, hmm...

I have attached a link for a comparrison:
http://www.box.net/files/0/f/0#/files/0/f/37004750/1/f_381209830

WTF is that? Is it the X3 Live making an issue, or have I "burned off" my line in (inpur on frontpanel) to my Sound Blaster Audigy?

It all worked fine all the way through my recording session ealier!

I have my X3 Live set to "amp" instead off "line in" as the line in setting makes one hell og af boost, so I took it off immediately, to "save" my line in off my Audigy, so I haven't put too much "load" on that I would say.

Anyone got a clue, I would be happy to know.

Offcause I'm gonna test my X3 Live at a buddy of mine, whos soundcard yet havn't "burned off" should that be my problem!

Thx for reading this, and for your time.

If you have the X3 set to amp I believe you are bypassing the cabinet sims which would make the distortions sound very fizzy. For direct recording keep it set to line.
