I was looking at the '70's live rig for Brian Robertson of Thin Lizzy & found this interesting looking Tape Delay he used.

WEM Tape Delay

It has tubes! A very distinctive delay sound on the live albums. Wonder what they go for today?

It seems to vary from £200 to £750, this is an interesting thread relating to the copycat or at least how to repair a broken one.
If you know you can get hold of the parts you may pick up a non working one for a few bucks and fix it yourself.

]WEM Tape Delay

KC , Now you're taking me way back man. In our garage band(that never got off the ground) I used the CopyCat Echo. This thing was the bomb but a pain because the tape always came off at the wrong time, just when we were halfway through out "hit song" I was too dumb to know whether it was tube driven but I do recall seeing "something" lit up inside. It could echo forever!
Cheers
Steph
